This is one of my favorite times of year!   I love this time of the year because it brings with it times of reflection.

The cold, the early darkness, the need for seasonal “comfort foods”, all help one to go back to memorable times in their life.  This is a time of hibernation and building for the new, while using the old as the building blocks.
In looking over my life, reviewing my success’, my commitment to my family, my craft, and my community, one thing that I decided to do is to pay more attention to “enjoying the process”.  This sentiment has been put out there in many ways,  “enjoying the journey”, “enjoy the climb”, “smell the roses”…add your own version here, you know what I mean.

I’ve been so busy, achieving goals, being in service to others, creating herbals, tonics, programs, seminars and researching wisdom, that I’ve been ignoring some fundamentals.  No more….  I’ve just decided to be happy, period.

I’m going to have more “Happy” events this year….I’ve moved in closer to Atlanta, in a great new house and office & manufacturing center and I will offer more classes that will have all of us absorbed in the wonder of our lives and our natural planet and our place in it.  We have quite a jewel here…many of the systems, no matter how we curse them, work for the upliftment of many of us and our lives are easier and greater than without them…lets’ just tell the truth and shame the devil…we are living well.

Some of us wanted more “Zu-zu’s”, but we see that we actually can still have a good life without them…but, what we value, our friendships, our family and our enrichment time is valuable and make our lives what they are…good.

In this spirit, we will be having The Fibroid Free Support Network, once per month, at my Wholistic LifeStyle Center, where women will gather both in person and with Sistahs all over the world via phone.  We’ll drink nice teas, laugh, cry, connect and exchange wisdom essential in living a good life.  This creative connection heals the person, womb, the family and community.  Everyone desires to connect in this time…

I’ll also have a “Bulb Planting Party” in the next couple of weeks…wanna learn and spread good seeds…you’ll have your chance.LOL

The “Wisdom of Our Herbal Elders” will be a fun, educational class that I’ve been contemplating for several years.  My creative spirit tells me, “Its’ Time…”, so I’m stepping out there.  Many people, 100’s of people, have been asking for this class for many years and I’m in the space and time to do it, so this one time, I’m there to patiently teach what the Creator has been so gracious and generous with me, herbal wisdom.

More to say, but its’ supposed to be 18*degrees tonite, so, I gotta get ready.

I just came back from my vacation in Flint, Michigan, from my family reunion and I feel fantabulous!

Vacations are wonderful!  Even though, most of the time, we don’t think we need one, it makes a huge difference in your Life, your work and your attitude, if you do take one….I pulled myself away from my passion to take this vacation…and boy, oh, boy, did I feel the difference after just 2 days.  If you haven’t pulled yourself away, you absolutely must, for your best health.

I realized the value of family, again, and I enjoyed the slower routine and allowing my family to take over my kids sometimes…I have one brother in Duluth, GA, about 2 hours away from me and we don’t do that, maybe we should start.

I created 2 more herbal formulations or I “dream-spired” them…you’ll be hearing about them soon.

I also alllowed the “God-voice” to be louder and stronger in directing my path and that is good for us, because it allows us to “Live Our Passion” and I am allowing that info to be part of my conscious plan for my Life…

Jamilah and I worked together for many years, starting with our stint on Sevananda Coop’s Board of Directors 5 years ago.

She received tips from me on how she could let people know of her service and we exchanged info on healing and spoke at each other’s events.  She did unsurpassed work with women in the Atlanta area on healing from Fibroids.  Her practice, “Healing Can Happen” was instrumental in making women aware of their emotional component involved in their “dis-ease”.

One of her favorite sayings was, “You’re on purpose.”  I loved that about her!  She was a very gentle soul, spoke softly and deliberately and intently paying attention to you and your energy, and your words.

She was to have attended the Fibroid Free! Womb Wellness event of ‘08, but she chose to relax and take a break in St. Croix, a place that she told me that she would eventually move to.

One of the things that I’m attempting to pick out of my profound sadness, is her way of telling people, “to get on purpose” & “to live on purpose”.

She taught that “we need a sense of purpose thorough service and love….do what you love and do it with Passion!”  “Giving of yourself is an act of love.”

I’ve had some projects on the back burner and I’m putting them on the front burner.  I’ve been slacking off (in my mind), not really, but, I’m back on the beam and I’m not taking “no” for an answer.

In honoring Jamilah, I’m taking “my purpose”, a level up, seriously, Life is that precious and wonderful, when you honor who you truly are, its’ required.

I knew that was those so-called preventative cervical cancer shots were going to cause more problems that it cured.  I could just tell.  It was about that time period that I temporarily stopped blogging….when that issue was being perculated, legislated and force-feed into our faces and our 9 year old daughters’ arms.  That level alone, made it an issue for me.  How many 9 year old’s get cervical cancer.
