“I consider myself a channel for people to heal themselves. My work reminds me that when we are given good food & herbs, and as such, our bodies have the power to heal themselves.
Our bodies want balance. I’ve been blessed to tactfully combine
the wisdom of nature with research and observation.”
Eshe Faizah
The implementation of this philosophy has been the foundation that has made Eshe Faizah one of the most well-respected, results-oriented professionals in the holistic health industry.Known internationally as The Herb Lady, Faizah's ever present connection to her Mississippi Herbalist Aunt & Uncle inspired Faizah’ Legacy Herbal blends, Aunt Henrietta’sLung Tonic and Uncle Peter’s Azzafizzity Cough Stop, honor those tall-walkers who, to this day, guide her on her healing journey.Multitalented and exceptionally gifted, Faizah has earned a reputation for excellence and is highly sought after to share her expertise.
Being a person of great innovation since her youth, Faizah has always displayed a spirit of entrepreneurship, even before the word became popular. As senior class president at FlintNorthwesternHigh School, Faizah took the lead role in assuring that her class raised the most funds during the school’s entire history. She began collegiate studies at the University of Michigan, and she began working in Michigan’s automotive industry, but after the untimely death of her mother, she took a break in her studies. However, as conditions improved, Faizah applied and was accepted to the University of California at Berkeley (UC-Berkeley), which is where her entrepreneurial spirit was fully birthed and nurtured.
During her UC-Berkeley experience, Faizah began The Entrepreneurs’ Ally, a business support group of 100 members that existed for the purpose of informing, inspiring and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs.Under Faizahs’ leadership, the Student Entrepreneurial Opportunity Program (SEOP) was incepted, and her business, Jus’ Poppin’ (a gourmet popcorn shop that popped fresh popcorn blended with special herbs and/or toppings) was the first student business in the history of UC-Berkeley.SEOP is still in existence today, and Jus’ Poppin’ was voted “Best Popcorn in the San Francisco-Bay Area” two consecutive years.
Faizah began her study of herbs at UC-Berkeley.Her intense study continued in 1989 when she enrolled at The Dominion College.Herbalist mentors like Dr. John Christopher, a graduate of Dominion, have influenced her formal study of herbs, inspiring her to further tap into her families’ herbal legacy.Faizah is credited with a series of formulas called The Herb Lady Herbals, which include Big Kidz Kleanse, Kidz KleanseDe-Wormer, Herbal Tooth & Gum Powder, the Herb Lady’s Herbal Skin Healing Salve, the Parasite De-Wormer 30-Day Kleanze, Adrenal Support & Relief, amongst others, all revitalizing blends that stimulate wellness. Fibroid Free! is used as the primary treatment for uterine fibroids in several holistic OB/GYN offices in both Atlanta and Maryland. Faizah wrote and compiled, The Parasite Kleanzing Diet, produced by Herb Sistah Publishing.
Leaving a legacy of healing for children is a vital part of Faizahs’ lifework. “We must empower our children with the knowledge and confidence to heal themselves physically, emotionally, spiritually and nutritionally,” Faizah says. “It is The Creator’s intention that we live in divine order.”Since 1989, Faizah has lived in Newborn, Georgia (Atlanta metro area) with her family.A community activist, Faizah was the first African-American city council person in Newborn’s history.
